Welcome to my profile! I am a current JD candidate at Harvard Law School, but that wasn't always the plan. I began my professional experience as a Data Scientist at top tech companies like Meta and Google but decided I wanted to expand my toolkit of how to solve problems I saw in the world. Thanks to these experiences, I have a keen understanding of how to craft compelling applications that stand out in a competitive landscape. If you are: - A splitter - Below both LSAT and GPA medians - Interested in the t-14 - Interested in beyond the t-14 - Need to get off hold/waitlist - Struggling with your essays Listen up! GPA and LSAT are king - nothing else matters. This is the traditional "Reddit" wisdom that haunts every budding law school applicant. But that doesn't have to be true. You don't have to be a Rhodes or Truman Scholar, D1 athlete, or PhD. You can write your way in. I sure did. And a year later, my writing skills earned me a spot on the North Carolina Law Review, the flagship academic legal journal of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law. I beat the odds time and time again. Ever since, I've been able to help other law school applicants with borderline stats (within reason) gain acceptance into their dream law schools. Some of my clients have been admitted to schools like Columbia, UVA, Harvard (including off the waitlist), NYU, Michigan, Georgetown, Duke, and UNC-Chapel Hill. I am no stranger to admissions advising. I have been a college admissions consultant for over eight years and I have been a Senior Admissions Consultant for U.S. News CollegeAdvisor since 2021. In that world, I have also helped borderline students secure admission to Ivy League schools, T-20 schools, and Public Ivies. I have seamlessly translated what I know about undergraduate admissions to the law school admissions. You don't always have to give up on your dream law school. Even with your stats, there can be a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

I'm a recent Yale Law School graduate with extensive writing and editing experience. I've written briefs in federal appeals, served as an editor for the Yale Law Journal, and authored scholarship that is forthcoming in the Yale Law Journal and the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. Before that, I studied political science at Williams College, where I graduated summa cum laude as one of the top four students in my class. I applied to law school straight through from college, and I was admitted to Yale, Stanford, and Harvard. I'm now completing a one-year fellowship in appellate defense before I begin two federal clerkships. Given my background, I'm particularly interested in helping those interested in public-interest law. When applying to law school, I questioned whether I could be a competitive applicant at T14 schools, as I earned my undergraduate degree from a public university that does not send many students to top-tier law schools. However, I believed I would bring a unique voice to some of these schools and spent months crafting my essays and other application components. I received numerous offers at T14 schools and was honored to join Harvard Law School's Class of 2026. I have helped many potential students with their applications and am a Harvard Law School Admissions Ambassador, acting as a liaison with potential and admitted students. Bill De La Rosa serves as Co-Chair of Humanity in Action’s American Planning Board and is a legal intern for the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild. Before his legal and doctoral studies at Yale Law School and the University of Oxford, he worked for the Pima County Administrator’s Office, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Center for Law and Social Policy, the Maine Volunteer Lawyers Project, and a member of the U.S. Congress. Raised in South Tucson, Arizona, Bill holds a B.A. Phi Beta Kappa in Latin American Studies and Sociology with Honors from Bowdoin College, where he became a Truman Scholar, John Lewis Fellow, and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund’s Hispanic Scholar of the Year. Bill also has an M.Sc. in Migration Studies with Merit and an M.Sc. in Criminology and Criminal Justice with Distinction from the University of Oxford, where he was a Marshall Scholar and Clarendon Scholar. At Yale, he has been named a Hurst Horizon Scholar, an International Strategy Forum Fellow, and a Katzmann Fellow.

I have a degree in English from the University of Cambridge, and I am a former news journalist, relentless reader, avid writer, and Stanford MBA. My first law school client came from a military background. We worked together from the get-go on her Personal Statement, Optional and Diversity Statements, resume, and preparing for interviews. She got into: Harvard, Cornell, Michigan, Vanderbilt, GWU, Syracuse, Boston College and Colorado. My name is Alexia Godron, and I'm a J.D. candidate at Columbia Law School. I originally applied to law school as a GPA/LSAT splitter, and transferred from Boston University School of Law after my first year. I've always been very passionate about helping people reach their full potential, particularly when it comes to education! I also have significant experience in tutoring and coaching - I've worked with high school students in college admissions coaching for three years, volunteer as an alumni interviewer for Yale University college admissions, and tutored French and Greek for over 4 years (including at the Yale Center for Language Study).
