I was accepted to four Ivy League universities and six highly competitive combined Bachelor’s/DDS dental programs. I ultimately chose to attend Stony Brook University on a full scholarship, where I was also admitted to the Honors College. Through this journey, I gained firsthand experience navigating competitive admissions, building a strong application profile, and crafting essays that authentically showcase a student’s strengths and story.

I graduated with two bachelor's degree from Emory University with a full scholarship and later interviewed prospective candidates for admissions. With a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Management from Brigham Young University, where I graduated with a 3.9 GPA and made the Director's Dean's List, I bring a strong academic foundation to my coaching. I had a lot of varied interests in high school from robotics to debate, and when it came time for college applications, I had no idea what I wanted to do in the future. I was interested in the collaborative nature of business, enjoyed hands-on building with engineering, and also loved learning about current events and policy solutions through public policy. I spent a lot of time crafting a narrative that encompassed all my interests along a single thread, and spent effort creating individual supplements for each school. At the end of the day, my effort paid off and when it came time to choose between acceptances, I had gotten into Georgia Tech for Aerospace Engineering, NYU Stern for business, and Georgetown for public policy. I've since helped several others navigate the college application process with an emphasis on creating an essay and strategy that best reflects each student and their goals.

I worked directly with 50 scholars from under-resourced backgrounds to support their college application process through identifying goals, advising scholars through the application and financial aid process, discussing needs and wants in their institutions, and distilling a list of institutions that provide a good “fit” to which they should apply. 98% of students were admitted to a “most competitive college” as identified by Barron’s. 69% were admitted to at least one Ivy League institution, MIT, or Stanford.
