I have a unique blend of experience and skills that make me a very strong admissions consultant. First, I have spent over 20 years in various senior management roles in marketing, product marketing and business development giving me a strong set of marketing and branding skills that are essential for any candidate to stand out. Second, I am a very strong writer and had publications published in various journals. That allows me to help applicants craft a strong, unique, differentiated and very well written story across all of the applications. Third, as a graduate of top schools such as Northwestern and Stanford I have had personal success in getting into top institutions and can speak from experience not just theory. I have also been an undergraduate admissions interviewer for Stanford admissions for 5 years, gaining valuable admissions qualifications experience. Finally I am very customer focused and task driven and always give a 100% effort to make sure my clients get the best results.

I became an Independent Educational Counselor when I noticed a dearth of college admissions counselors with their own STEM backgrounds and experience. I believe aspiring STEM majors deserve not just a counselor, but a mentor who’s been there and really understands them. I’ve combined my STEM education and career experience with deep knowledge of how to gain admission and succeed in today’s STEM higher education system to provide tailored services that meet the specific needs of STEM students. My Admissions Counseling services help families through the stressful process of applying to STEM college programs. I understand your aspiring STEM major far better than an ordinary counselor could. I serve as a role model and mentor for my students through this formative period, all for the same or less than generic counselors. I also leverage my massive network of STEM professionals, including college professors and industrial scientists and engineers, to make introductions for my students and obtain important perspectives and info about STEM majors, college programs, and careers.

With over 11 years in higher education at top US institutions such as NYU, Stanford, and UT Austin, I know what it takes for an application to stand out. As a former admissions staff member and campus leader, I’ve read applications, interviewed students, and helped universities share their stories with prospective applicants. I am a rising 3L at Stanford Law School. I love working with students to craft a cohesive, powerful narrative that reflects their accomplishments so they can gain admission to their dream law school or university. I take a holistic approach, taking time to understand my clients' background, personality, and goals. I do not let median GPAs or test scores or admission rates dictate my clients' application strategy or success. I can also guide students on how to discuss their race and ethnicity in our post-affirmative action reality. By closely studying the U.S. Supreme Court decisions Students for Fair Admissions (SFFA) v Harvard and Students for Fair Admissions (SFFA) v UNC overturning affirmative action, I've been able to help my clients discuss their race and ethnicity in ways that college admissions offices can legally consider when reviewing their application. Throughout law school, I have completed 5 internships in the public, private, and non-profit sector including a Big Law internship, two state attorney general internships, a local government internship, and an internship at a leading international non-profit environmental advocacy organization. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.S. in Environmental Economics and Policy and a B.A. in Urban Studies. In undergrad, I worked as a research assistant and independent researcher while also serving as president of the Berkeley Urban Studies Student Association. I have coached undergrads through their law school application process and high school students through their college admissions process. I have helped undergrad and high school students get admitted to programs where they had well below-median GPAs and/or standardized test scores.

I'm Bryan, a University of Pennsylvania graduate with a double major in International Relations and Latin American & Latino Studies. As a first-generation Latino college graduate, I learned to navigate the college admissions process by myself and am passionate about helping others through this intimidating process. I have guided many mentees and peers through the college admissions process through reviewing college essays, giving guidance on test prep time management, crafting narrative as a prospective applicant, developing leadership skills, and preparing for admissions interviews. These students have been accepted to an array of colleges including UPenn, Stanford, Harvard, Drexel, and Claremont McKenna. As a coach, I believe a holistic approach across leadership skills, academic excellence, and character are critical to standing out in the competitive college admissions process.
