Getting into a good college is more competitive than ever. It's also more expensive than ever. When I work with my students on their admissions statement, their list of dream and target schools, and their resumes and supplementals, I aim to give them realistic answers based on my experience and knowledge in the field, without leading them on or creating make-work. The goal is to have them on their way after no more than five sessions. Some of my expertise comes from collaborating with Rainbow EDU, known for serving high-end Los Angeles clients. I have worked with those clients and collaborated with the CEO of Rainbow on informational interviews for Forbes. I have been interviewed, alongside that CEO, by the New York Post with regard to financial aid, DEI and admissions. One of the greatest feelings I get is hearing admissions stories from clients!

I have a unique blend of experience and skills that make me a very strong admissions consultant. First, I have spent over 20 years in various senior management roles in marketing, product marketing and business development giving me a strong set of marketing and branding skills that are essential for any candidate to stand out. Second, I am a very strong writer and had publications published in various journals. That allows me to help applicants craft a strong, unique, differentiated and very well written story across all of the applications. Third, as a graduate of top schools such as Northwestern and Stanford I have had personal success in getting into top institutions and can speak from experience not just theory. I have also been an undergraduate admissions interviewer for Stanford admissions for 5 years, gaining valuable admissions qualifications experience. Finally I am very customer focused and task driven and always give a 100% effort to make sure my clients get the best results.

I received multiple scholarships for every year of my undergraduate experience, and am passionate about making college accessible to students from all backgrounds. Having worked on high education projects for Bain & Company, as an education policy consultant at the Gates Foundation, and as an ESL teacher for years I have a holistic view of the high education sector and what it takes to position yourself as a successful applicant.

Over the past several years, I've served as Senior Admissions Counselor at AddedEducation, Strategy Consultant at Crimson Education, and Assistant Director of Recruitment and Admissions for the Chicago Booth Executive MBA program, roles in which I've successfully guided numerous students and professionals through the complexities of highly competitive application processes. With six years of hands-on experience as a BYU admissions application reader and admissions counselor, I bring insider knowledge of what truly makes an application great. I've evaluated hundreds of applications, so I’ve seen firsthand what works (and what doesn’t) when it comes to essays, activities, and overall presentation. After graduating with both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees, working for UNC Office of Undergraduate Admissions, and working as a College Admissions Consultant, I am well-versed in the world of college admissions.
