I’m Becky Song, a Wharton MBA, former Wharton admissions fellow, professional admissions and career coach, and Founder & Executive Director of Ivy Journey (theivyjourney.com). Over the past 15+ years, I’ve helped hundreds of applicants and professionals earn admission to top MBA, master’s, and college programs, as well as land offers across consulting, strategy, and business roles. My clients have been admitted to top MBA programs (e.g., HBS, Stanford GSB, Wharton, MIT Sloan, Columbia, Kellogg, Booth, LBS, Insead, etc.) and top Ivy undergrad & grad programs. I’ve also coached 500+ candidates through career transitions, resumes, interviews, consulting recruiting, and personal positioning. Why do I coach?
I coach because I know how much the right guidance can change the trajectory of a person’s life. Admissions, recruiting, and career transitions are not just paperwork or interviews. They are moments when people are trying to decide who they are, what they want, and how to communicate their potential clearly. I love helping clients find the thread in their story: the experiences, motivations, and strengths that make them distinctive. Many of my clients come in feeling overwhelmed, underconfident, or unsure how to position themselves. My favorite part of coaching is watching that uncertainty turn into clarity, confidence, and momentum. A great outcome is an acceptance letter or job offer. But the deeper outcome is helping someone understand their own value and advocate for it powerfully.
