Welcome to my profile! With a Bachelor's Degree from The Wharton School, I bring a strong academic foundation to my coaching. My professional journey spans roles in growth, strategy, and product management at leading companies like Lyra Health, Redesign Health, and Deloitte Consulting. I have worked with 20+ students on college admissions and test prep, helping them improve SAT scores and craft standout applications for top schools. I focus on helping students translate their experiences into compelling narratives, strengthen their extracurricular positioning, and maximize their admissions odds with clear, actionable guidance.

I help students applying to CS, engineering, and tech-adjacent undergraduate programs build applications that show both intellectual curiosity and real-world direction. My perspective comes from a technical master's degree from Nanyang Technological University and 15+ years in global tech, product, and operations roles at Amazon, Rakuten, and FedEx. I work with students and families on school list strategy, activity and project positioning, personal statements, supplemental essays, resume or activities lists, recommendation strategy, and interview prep. I am especially useful when a student has coding projects, robotics or research, competitions, startups, internships, or cross-cultural experience but needs help turning that raw material into a coherent admissions story. I coach in English, Japanese, and Chinese and can support applicants targeting universities in the US, UK, and Asia.

Accepted to 15/15 colleges, completed BS (Neuroscience) and MA (Media Studies) simultaneously at Stanford (Class of 2025). Experienced tutor and coach with proven track record; have worked as a freelance test prep tutor and college essay reviewer for 5 years. Past clients have shown SAT score improvements of >200 points, and been accepted to multiple t20 institutions. Worked as a peer tutor for Stanford Online High School and Notre Dame High School, helping fellow students with essay writing.

I've spent 10+ years helping students navigate college applications, and I've coached dozens through the process with multiple admits to Ivy League and top-10 programs. My background in engineering, consulting, and medicine gives me a different lens than most admissions coaches: I think in frameworks, and I know how to help a student find the thread that makes their application coherent and compelling. I'm especially effective with students who have strong profiles but haven't figured out how to tell their story — whether that's a non-traditional background, a pivot, or just a lot going on that doesn't fit neatly into a Common App box. I work primarily on essays and strategy: how to position your application, which schools to target, and how to make your personal statement actually sound like you.
