Hi! I spent close to a decade in venture capital, business operations, investment banking, and management consulting before pursuing a dream job as a full-time college water polo coach. Having worked my way up to Principal at GSV Ventures, I have firsthand experience in building a career in venture and all the different aspects of VC (sourcing, deciding, winning, helping startups). I’ve worked inside VC funds, evaluated startups across multiple sectors, supported diligence processes, and built relationships throughout the ecosystem. On the operator side, I’ve founded and scaled my own startup, advised dozens of early-stage teams, and worked closely with founders on fundraising, financial analysis, storytelling, and go-to-market strategy. Because I’ve lived both sides of the table, I’m able to teach not just how to get into VC, but how to think like an investor—how to evaluate companies, form an investment thesis, communicate your judgment, and stand out in interviews.
