I worked as a FinOps Analyst, focusing on FP&A projects for B2B SaaS portfolio companies, including financial reporting, financial modeling, SaaS metrics, and accounting. I then transitioned into investing and operations at GenNx360 Capital Partners, where I worked on new deals and drove value creation across healthcare and industrial portfolio companies. I led initiatives in procurement, growth strategy, and cross-portfolio synergies. I deepened my transaction experience as an Investment Banker at Guggenheim Securities. Having sat on both the legal and investing sides, I know exactly what it takes to break into and thrive in private equity. After graduating from Hamilton College, I worked in investment banking for 6 years, with experience across Goldman Sachs' TMT group in San Francisco and Bank of America's Healthcare group in New York. Today, I am a Private Equity Associate at ZMC, a middle-market private equity firm focused on technology, media, and entertainment. I have firsthand experience recruiting for investment banking internships, lateral positions, and private equity. At each firm that I've worked at throughout my career, I have made it a point to be heavily involved in the recruiting process and have conducted numerous interviews for a variety of roles. I landed 6 PE / principal investing offers that I was excited about and ultimately worked at Blackstone's private equity group, focused on infrastructure companies. I avoided working in banking during and post-MBA and had a non-traditional international development background after consulting.
