Prior to moving in-house at a private investment fund (where I currently serve as General Counsel), I spent the first 5-6 years of my career at top law firms like Kirkland & Ellis and Gibson Dunn, where I specialized in complex M&A transactions and corporate governance, particularly in the energy sector. I hold a J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. in Economics from Texas A&M University.

I launched my personal injury law firm in June 2009 with zero clients and have built it into a thriving practice. Over the past 18 years, I have successfully settled more than 400 cases. Unlike attorneys who only focus on legal work, I’ve run every facet of my practice myself — from client acquisition and marketing to accounting, tax preparation, and negotiating settlements with insurance companies. This gives me a unique perspective on what it truly takes to succeed as a solo personal injury lawyer.
