Taylor’s Legal Practice Qualifications
Experience level: Associate
As a recent Stanford Law School JD graduate and a Knight-Hennessy Scholar, I bring a range of experience in public service legal roles as a law student and new attorney, including with the Department of Justice, private public interest firms, and federal clerkships. My diverse legal background, from clerking to interning with the House Foreign Affairs Committee Legal Counsel, equips me with a deep understanding of the legal field. I am passionate about helping aspiring legal professionals navigate their career paths, offering insights into law school applications, internships, and clerkships. Let's work together to achieve your legal career goals—reach out to start your journey today! What's the process? It depends on your goals and preferences, but I typically like to do a 15-30 minute initial meeting to understand your background, goals, and priorities. We identify tasks to accomplish and set deadlines for each, taking a step-by-step approach that feels manageable. Clients can send written drafts anytime, and I provide written feedback within 48 hours. I'm always available to answer pop-up questions and support. We schedule follow-up meetings as needed.

About Taylor
My life has been all about taking big leaps and making major pivots—all with the goal of living more authentically and finding greater meaning in my life and career. After 6 years in the active duty military, I decided to pursue a legal career. I attended Stanford Law School as a Knight-Hennessey Scholar and then worked as a Ninth Circuit clerk. I'm barred in California and a practicing attorney at the start-up plaintiff-side firm, Salahi PC. I'm a proud Pacific Northwest native, but I have lived and traveled all around the world as an Air Force officer. In my free time, I'm an avid adventurer. I love trail running, mountain biking, snowboarding, and exploring in my van.
Why do I coach?
Incredible coaches and mentors helped me navigate the journey from the military to law school and the legal profession. My passion lies in helping others do the same. My expertise lies in working with transitioning military members and veterans, but I also enjoy helping young professionals and senior undergraduates envision and plan for a future in law or pursue other graduate or fellowship programs. I take a holistic approach with my clients—I want to understand your goals, ambitions, and priorities. How can I help make your dreams a reality?
