Welcome to my profile. I successfully navigated the investment banking recruiting process in Fall 2025 and coach from real, recent experience with what works in today’s market. I focus on building strong technical skills from solid sources and preparing candidates to handle real interview pressure, not just technical drills in isolation. I work closely with career switchers to build a targeted recruiting strategy around which banks and groups make sense for their background, so effort is focused where outcomes are most likely. I have led technical workshops, run mock interviews, and coached candidates across accounting, valuation, recruiting strategy, resume refinement, and networking execution. The goal is simple: prepare efficiently, avoid outdated advice, and show up to interviews confident in both your skills and your strategy.

Hi! Hope you're doing well. My name is Kyle, and I'm currently an associate at a megafund in private equity, having worked as a full-time analyst on the technology investment banking team at Morgan Stanley for two years, and having graduated from Stanford with a degree in Economics and Computer Science. I love serving as a finance coach because of the chance for me to pay it forward, given the mentorship I received from others during my recruiting journey despite being low-income, and helping my students successfully land their dream jobs at top firms. I specialize across investment banking, private equity, and asset management, with services ranging from interview case prep to financial modeling and analysis and much more. I faced a lot of challenges during my recruiting journey, and failed during interviews at 20+ firms, which fortunately has equipped me with a wealth of recruiting insights and experience. What differentiates me as a coach is my understanding of the sector landscape (ie. MM vs. UMM vs. MF funds in PE or boutique firms in IB), knowing what the interviewers will ask and what they want to hear, as well as the wealth of practice resources and materials I have for students.

I began my career in FIG investment banking at UBS, receiving a return offer from the NYC summer analyst program and spending 1.5 years as a full-time analyst. I then transitioned to Hunter Point Capital, a private equity firm focused on GP stakes and NAV-based credit, where I completed a two-year associate program. Most recently, I joined Evercore as an experienced investment banking associate, following a targeted and efficient lateral process. Across these roles, I’ve earned offers from strong firms in both investment banking and private equity, which has given me a clear, practical understanding of how recruiting actually works - not just technically, but strategically. I’ve been on both sides of the table, including serving as an Evercore Superday interviewer, and I regularly help candidates refine resumes, master technicals, prepare for LBO and case interviews, and develop compelling behavioral narratives. My coaching focuses on helping people move through recruiting effectively and efficiently, avoiding wasted effort, focusing on what truly matters, and positioning themselves to win offers, because that’s exactly what I’ve done myself.
