About Sean

Hi - my name is Sean and I'm currently the Chief Financial Officer of a high-growth SaaS business. Prior to my current role, I led Finance/FP&A/Corp. Dev. teams at a couple other high-growth SaaS businesses. I began my career in Investment Banking, working for an Elite Boutique firm called Greenhill. After spending a couple years there in NYC, I moved to San Francisco, California to work in Private Equity at TMT-focused Silver Lake, focusing on their middle-market strategy (Sumeru), eventually spinning-out the fund into Sumeru Equity Partners. In total, I spent ~7 years in Private Equity, focusing on high-growth SaaS investments. I can help coach on Investment Banking, Private Equity, Finance more broadly, and also the move over to the Operating side of things.

Why do I coach?

I have been a coach for many years, and I really enjoy giving back in the same ways in which I benefitted in the past. I had the benefit of having a substantial IB and PE network through my college, and I also had many coaches in the workplace. These experiences really helped shape my career today, and I'm a firm believer in paying that forward.
