About Michael

I’m an MBA and MS in Computer Science candidate at the University of Chicago, specializing in finance and high-performance computing. Before business school, I worked at Deloitte Consulting on cloud strategy and datacenter transformation, and later interned at Centerview Partners in Menlo Park. Over the past year I’ve spent thousands of hours refining my understanding of investment banking recruitment — studying the process, interviewing at top firms, and mentoring others through it. I write detailed guides and technical breakdowns used by candidates across programs who want a rigorous, insider-level preparation approach.

Why do I coach?

I coach because I know how unforgiving the process is — and how much time is wasted on the wrong material. I’ve gone through every stage myself, from no finance knowledge to offers at top firms, and I’ve analyzed hundreds of real interviews to isolate what actually matters. Coaching lets me cut through the noise for serious candidates who want to prepare with precision and win offers consistently.
