I am qualified to coach in investment banking because I combine hands-on experience across investment banking–adjacent roles with a deep understanding of how banks function as integrated organizations. Over the course of my career, I have worked across core finance areas including investment banking and wealth management, which has given me a clear view of how different divisions, coverage, product teams, markets, research, and client-facing roles, interact in practice. This allows me to help candidates understand not just “what investment banking is,” but how each role fits within the broader bank and what profiles truly succeed in each area. In parallel, I have coached and mentored many MiM and MBA candidates navigating highly structured investment banking recruiting processes. I help clients clarify role fit across divisions, position their background strategically, and prepare effectively for technical and behavioral interviews. My coaching emphasizes structure, realism, and execution, helping candidates make informed choices about where to apply, avoid common misalignment mistakes, and approach investment banking recruiting with clarity and confidence.

What sets me apart from other stellar coaches on this platform is that I didn't get into IB via a traditional route. I started my career in accounting and through a combination of networking, story crafting, technical prep, and grit found my way into a middle market investment bank. If you want to lateral to IB (or get in generally) I can help you. I had a number of significant roadblocks including poor health in my undergrad, a mediocre GPA and limited connections in IB. After figuring out which levers I needed to pull and which doors I needed to bang on, I now am almost a year into my job at Piper Sandler with a mega fund PE offer as well.
