I successfully broke into investment banking from a non-target school, where I learned firsthand that the traditional recruiting funnel doesn't work for everyone. I’ve navigated the process and can help you build your own playbook for breaking in, just as I did. Given how expedited the recruiting process has become for college sophomores, a coach who recruited recently and understands the rapidly evolving process is a necessity. My preparation to land an investment banking seat started in high school, and I didn’t lose steam until I signed my offer in February, 2025. In addition to signing for Houlihan Lokey’s Restructuring Group, I received multiple offers from elite boutique, bulge bracket, and middle market firms.

I secured an internship and a full-time offer at the most prestigious group at JP Morgan, all while coming from a non-target university.
