I'm currently working in early stage VC, but during my time at Harvard Business School and prior, I spent extensive time working with coaches and mentors on career development. I've navigated multiple career pivots and am here to support you as you think about career development, strategy, goals, and how to achieve them.

I’ve had an nontraditional career path to get to where I am today (government > consulting > big tech), and I want to help others do the same. I coach under my friend’s career consulting company, and I personally make sure I interview on a regular basis to help my clients the best way that I can. I'm a Harvard grad and current Stanford MBA student with almost a decade of experience in a diverse range of roles - as an early startup employee, a self-employed startup consultant/freelancer, a venture capital analyst, and ultimately an exited startup COO (of a YCombinator-backed political software startup, one of the leading platforms in Democratic politics; acquired by ActBlue in 2025). I've made somewhat unconventional choices in my career - quitting jobs to become self-employed, taking risky roles at startups, etc. Along the way, I've enjoyed a great deal of success, and gained a lot of fulfillment by forging my own path. I've become an informal career coach/mentor for countless students over the last 10 years; I'm a sought-after mentor within the Harvard alumni community, well-regarded for my practical, honest advice about career decision-making and how to excel. I'm frequently told that I give the most specific, actionable advice of any mentors that my mentees have ever spoken with - and that's my goal! I'm here to listen, probe, brainstorm, and strategize alongside you.

I have worked for over 30 years with hundreds of students and clients seeking to start their career, or to change fields. I work in particular with lawyers seeking to switch fields and careers, and with pre-law students looking to enter the field of law, as well as with law students, and college students in general. I have published two books and many articles on the topic of career change, and finding a job/career. I was an Assistant Dean of a very large multi-campus Pre-law Advising program at a major university for many years. I was also a Director in the Career Services Office of a major law school for several years and have also had my own private career coaching practice. I am also experienced in administering and interpreting several career inventories.
