Melanie was so helpful and instrumental in helping me articulate my story, hone my strengths, and address my weaknesses in my MBA interview so that I could get into school. She was very straightforward and clearly identified what I needed to focus on, giving me descriptive and instructive feedback so that I could improve and go through my interview process with competence. She has a very clear understanding of exactly what CBS is looking for in interviews and is able to bring that knowledge into each session. After a long career as an entrepreneurial sales executive helping start companies grow and get acquired, I had reached a point in my career where a pause was necessary. Cathryn has played a really meaningful role in helping me navigate some big professional turning points over the past few years. There was a time when I felt stuck in customer service work and honestly wasn’t sure what direction I wanted to go next. She helped me step back, get clearer on what I actually wanted (and what I was already qualified for, even if I couldn’t see it yet), and start thinking more strategically about my career instead of staying in a rut. Jeff was a pivotal part of what got me to Harvard Business School and others. Without Ghalia’s guidance, dedication, and kindness I honestly do not think I would’ve been able to handle scholarship negotiations and commit to a law school.
