I had the absolute pleasure of working under Barb Bidan's leadership at Crunchyroll, where she was Chief People Officer from 2022 to 2024. It was a time of huge growth and change for the company, and Barb's smarts in HR, operations, and communications really helped us build strong teams and create a vibe that was all about innovation and feeling included. What I loved most was how she mixed big-picture business strategy with a real focus on people—she's got this warm, approachable way about her. She spearheaded projects that tied our talent plans to revenue goals, and we saw real boosts in how engaged everyone felt and how smoothly things ran. Her knack for handling change and using emotional intelligence made tough situations, like boosting diversity or sorting out conflicts, feel manageable and fair. Reporting into her team, I got so much from her mentoring—she's coached hundreds of folks, and her advice is always spot-on, practical stuff that helps you tackle hard choices and grow your career. Ekin provided thoughtful input throughout my MBA applications. We brainstormed essay topics together, discussed how to tailor them for different schools, and she reviewed my essays, providing constructive feedback.

Even though I come from a community where no one goes into finance, I wanted to break into the industry. Josh helped me understand not just the how but the why. He encouraged me to think long-term and to aim higher, which was possible because of his targeted advice and insight into the landscape. I never thought I’d be competitive enough to apply to internships at Singapore’s top banks, but here I am, and this confidence came from the convos we had.

I’ve had the privilege of knowing YaTonya for over 40 years in a professional, academic, personal and mentorship capacity. As she mentors me and others, I am always impressed by her professionalism, insight and genuine commitment to helping others grow. Lucas is not only an incredibly gifted natural sciences student, but he is also an extremely friendly, experienced, and professional mentor. He helped me navigate and triage the plethora of MCAT study resources to find the perfect fit for me, and gave wonderful advice on how to approach essay writing, interviewing, and - most importantly - stress management. I was not the perfect applicant by any means, so I credit Lucas for helping me gain multiple interviews, admissions offers, and a final commitment to the University of Rochester. Anyone given the opportunity to meet with and work with Lucas should seize it with confidence, knowing they have just about the best mentor they could ask for. Best of luck!

I can't recommend Josh enough - he was able to help me a lot for the college application process. I met him when he returned to my junior college to give a talk about studying in the US. Reached out to him with a few questions after and ended up working with him extensively throughout my final year. He shared insightful application, career and life advice that informed my path a lot. Definitely positioned me well for my Common App & UCAS applications leading to many eventual acceptances!

Audrey is the best coach anyone could ever wish for!! During our prep for consulting interviews, she was super structured in her approach and helped me identified the key areas for improvement.
