Lillian is an exceptional coach and mentor. As a guest speaker at Chatham University, I have sat in on several of Lillian’s classes. She is empathetic, engaging, and passionate but my favorite part of watching her coach, is how specific and knowledgeable she is. Lillian gets down to brass tax - strategy, word choice, steps 1-57. She is detailed and collaborative.

What set Tom apart for me was how well he helped me understand Stanford GSB. From the outside, it can be hard to grasp what makes GSB different from other top programs, but Tom broke it down in a way that made it feel tangible. He gave me clear guidance on what the school really values and how to reflect that in both my essays and interviews without trying to force anything. He also shared helpful resources and prompts that got me thinking more deeply about my own story. I had some rough ideas, but Tom helped me find the threads that felt both authentic to me and compelling from an admissions perspective. His feedback always pushed me to go beyond surface-level reflections and build a stronger, more intentional narrative. I don’t come from a military background, but Tom’s coaching completely resonated. He’s thoughtful, strategic, and genuinely invested in helping you bring your best self forward - whether you’ve been dreaming about Stanford for years or are coming to it with fresh eyes.

Steve served as my staffer and a mentor at my first full time job after undergrad. I came into the role as an investment banking analyst without any directly relevant prior summer analyst or internship experience, and Steve provided extremely helpful guidance and advice along the way. Staffer is usually a thankless role at many banks but I felt like he was able to balance the tough job of assigning new deal assignments to the bullpen in a very fair way and it felt like he was always our advocate. Working with Steve definitely helped me to grow into who I am professionally today and I would definitely recommend that you work with him!
