Amanda was my Intro to Computer Programming professor and someone with whom I had the chance to work closely as an assistant grader. She is an outstanding instructor who excels at helping students identify knowledge gaps and consistently supports them with patience and understanding. She has also helped me with both LORs and professional references and was punctual and approachable. I am very grateful for her support and strongly believe that her experience makes her an effective coach.

I had the honor of being Amanda’s student in my first year of university. As a refugee in a completely new world, she was the first professor who taught me how to love programming, not just tolerate it. Her class was gentle, accessible, and full of patience. That same semester, I fell seriously ill, and while most professors would’ve simply pointed me toward office hours, Amanda met me outside of class, checked in on me, and made sure I never felt left behind. Years later, as I stand on the cusp of graduating and stepping into my first post-college role, she remains one of my mentors and one of the brightest sources of inspiration in my life. I can trace so much of my confidence, curiosity, and career back to the love of learning she sparked in me during that first year, when I didn’t know who to turn to. If you’re looking for someone who teaches with empathy, clarity, and genuine care, Amanda is that rare kind of educator who changes the way you walk through the world.

Amanda was my Intro to Computer Programming professor, and she left a great impact on me. I even started tutoring for the course in the following semesters. Her teaching style was very organized, and she was eager to help students even outside of class hours. I’ve continued to feel her support throughout my career, and I’m very grateful for the foundation she helped me build.

Amanda was a great mentor while I was a tutoring showing how to handle new programming challenges with students alongside giving me someone to look up to for balancing work, teaching, and being an avid runner.

Amanda reviewed my applications and advised me on the application processes for MS in CS, MS in Data Science programs, and MBA programs. With her guidance, I was accepted into several top programs, including those at MIT, UChicago, Columbia, Cornell and NYU. She is extremely knowledgable about admissions processes, both through her own personal experience as well as through her work as an Adjunct at NYU, where she often herself writes LORs for students, and in the tech industry. Her teaching experience also makes her an empathetic and effective coach and leader.

Ishi's a top performer at BCG and truly a great coach. Super empathetic and structured - she would be deeply helpful to anyone wanting to apply for (deferred) MBA programs and a variety of industry or consulting roles.

I have been Erica`s mentee for the last 2 years, and it has been one of the best experiences I have had. She is thoughtful, authentic, and the greatest support for my career.
