I have known Jerry since we started our MBA together at the Wharton School and can candidly say he would be an incredible coach on the Leland platform. As a former McKinsey consultant & private equity investor, many of our mutual friends began asking for Jerry & I to help coaching them to prep for their consulting interviews - from polishing their resumes, to "crafting a story" during coffee chats, to doing cases on repeat. Early on, I went to Jerry to help actually "refresh" my own knowledge of what it was like to give a case, given I hadn't given one in a few years. It immediately became clear to me how knowledgable he was - including the nuances between an "Interviewer-led" case (McKinsey style) and an "Interviewee-led" case (BCG & Bain style). He had great pointers (and a library of good cases) on how to give a case, as well as the details to look out for and give feedback on. Jerry clearly knew the process inside and out, and I was able to become a much better caser myself just from spending time reviewing with Jerry. I have no doubt that he would be a great coach as he is also extremely patient and thoughtful with candidates. As Student Life Fellow (SLF) on campus, he plays an integral role in helping first year Wharton students acclimate socially and professionally. In this role, I've see him excel in being a charismatic, friendly face for folks that are seeking guidance in an unfamiliar space. I believe he would make for an incredible Leland coach - whether it's taking someone through the end-to-end process of getting a consulting offer, or on securing admission to a top MBA program. I wish I had Jerry coach me back in the day when I was interviewing for consulting!

Working with Jesse and M throughout the MBA application process was a truly wonderful experience. When I began searching for a coach, I knew I wanted someone who could help build up my confidence (especially coming from a non-traditional, clinical healthcare background) and encourage me to step out my comfort zone. Jesse did all that and more. His structured method of self-reflection helped me clarify post-MBA goals and shape my personal narrative to accurately reflect my aspirations and values, shaping the message I ultimately conveyed through my applications. Jesse also held me accountable throughout the process by encouraging me to set up phone calls with current students and alum, attending in person MBA fairs and school-specific coffee chats, and making campus visits. This process of self-reflection and program research helped me refine my school list and make the decision to apply EA to Fuqua. During the essay-writing stage, both Jesse and M were consistently prompt in their responses and turnaround times, even on the day of a R1 deadline when I ran into issues with a LOR. Their thoughtful edits and pointed questions helped me clarify my intentions and strengthen my writing. Additionally, the interview-prep platform Jesses uses was great for building confidence in articulating my professional goals and his willingness to meet multiple times per week during crunch time was instrumental in helping me feel prepared for any type of question. I really appreciated that Jesse took the time to truly understand my background and goals and provided direct, honest feedback and even called me out when I was slacking and provided some much needed encouragement. I am deeply grateful for Jesse and M’s guidance and highly recommend working with them to anyone seeking structured, encouraging, and personalized MBA coaching.

Doug is both an amazing and rare mentor. Throughout my time as his mentee, he blended sharp insights with storytelling and always gave tailored + thoughtful consultation.
