I had the honor of being Amanda's student during my first-year spring semester at NYU for her Introduction to Computer Programming Course. Before this course, I was so unsure of what I wanted to pursue a major in. Her teaching and support throughout the semester made me realize how much I loved computer science, and soon after declared that as my major. Her support for my academic career extended beyond just the semester I was her student as well. I decided NYU was not the right school for me and she helped with my transfer applicaiton journey. She even wrote my letter of recommendation. I am incredibly grateful to have had her as a professor.

Taarika is the reason I got my McKinsey offer. I did a mock PEI interview with her the day before my final round interview and she asked, very considerately, if I wanted my confidence built up or needed tough love. I said the latter and she told me I needed to change at least 2 of my PEI stories by a lot. I did - thanks to her insightful, step by step guidance - and that is the only reason I was confident I could clinch the offer the next day. Work with Taarika - you won't regret it!
