Something is off, and it has been off long enough that you have stopped expecting a new role or a new title to fix it. Maybe it is the exhaustion of performing the competence you actually have but cannot seem to simply inhabit. Maybe it is the persistent sense that in the rooms where it matters most, you are managing yourself as much as you are leading others. Maybe the version of yourself that existed before the climb got quieter with every credential earned and every expectation met, and you are not sure where that person went. Maybe you have the room and cannot fully claim it, and the gap between what you are capable of and how you actually show up is starting to cost you in ways you cannot ignore. These are not separate problems. They are different entry points into the same place. This is not about fixing one high-stakes moment. It is about the recurring pattern underneath every moment like it โ the thread that keeps pulling you back into performance mode, regardless of how much you accomplish or how long you have been doing this ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ โ Senior professionals and leaders who perform well and feel the weight of what that performance requires โ First-generation and diaspora leaders navigating the gap between the leader they have become and the one they actually want to be โ People experiencing imposter syndrome that has nothing to do with skill and everything to do with belonging and permission โ Leaders who have lost track of the version of themselves that existed before the role took over โ Professionals ready to stop managing the gap and start closing it ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ Eight weeks of deep work on the specific threads keeping the performance dynamic running. We do not work on one leadership challenge in isolation. We work on what generates the pattern โ the inherited identity, the belonging deficit, the belief structure that makes fully inhabiting authority feel like it costs something it shouldn't โ and we untangle them directly. The first sessions map what is actually running underneath the leadership challenge you brought in. Not the visible version of it. The layer where the person you were raised to be and the leader you are becoming have gotten tangled in a way that makes full presence in the role feel risky. From there, the work moves into the pattern itself. Session by session, we track how it activates in real situations and work with it directly at the level where it shapes how you show up, what you hold back, and what feels available to you as a leader. Running alongside this work is the Positive Intelligence mental fitness program. Not as the main event. As the infrastructure that makes the shift sustainable โ building the capacity to stay out of the performance loop once we have interrupted it, so the work holds when the pressure returns. ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ Most leadership development focuses on skills, presence, and strategy. This work focuses on the layer underneath those things โ where the identity you built to succeed and the leader you are becoming have gotten tangled in a way that makes full inhabitation of the role feel costly. For first-generation and diaspora leaders specifically, that tangle has a particular shape. The authority you have earned exists inside institutions and systems that were not built with you in mind. Stepping fully into that authority can feel like moving away from the identity and the people that shaped you. That tension does not resolve through more skill-building. It resolves when it is named precisely and worked with directly. Most people at this point are performing a version of themselves. This work is about closing that gap โ so you can simply be that leader, without the management it takes to hold the performance together. The goal is not better leadership. It is leadership that actually feels like yours.
A named pattern โ specific, visible, and workable across future leadership moments
A clear sense of the leader you actually want to be, separate from the one you have been performing
The mental fitness to catch the pattern before it pulls you back into management mode
A clear articulation of who you are choosing to be, in your own words, that you can return to when the pressure tries to pull you back into old patterns
Coaching delivered via live sessions.
โ Direct and precise. We work on what is actually there, not the polished version of it. โ Culturally grounded. I understand the specific weight that first-generation and diaspora professionals carry into their leadership. That weight is not a side note here. It is central to the work. โ Below the surface. Most coaching works on the visible challenge. I work at the layer underneath it, where the pattern that keeps generating the challenge actually lives. โ Your language, not mine. The insights that come out of this work are named in your words, not translated into a framework you have to remember later. โ Structured and focused. Every session has a direction. You will not leave wondering what just happened or what comes next. โ Credentialed and experienced. JD, Columbia Law School. AB, Harvard University. Helping emerging leaders trust themselves when it matters most.
With over 20 years of experience across law, energy, and education โ and having worked with leaders in organizations including Google, Amazon, IBM, OECD, and Daimler โ I specialize in helping emerging leaders build the ability to trust their judgment when the stakes are high. Many high performers step into leadership roles, assuming more skill or strategy will solve their challenges. But the real breakdown rarely comes from lack of knowledge. It happens under pressure โ in difficult conversations, high-visibility decisions, or moments of scrutiny โ where second-guessing, over-explaining, or overworking quietly take over. Thatโs where I work. Using principles from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Intelligence (mental fitness), and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), I help leaders strengthen steadiness under pressure, sharpen decision-making clarity, and step fully into authority without losing authenticity. The result is leadership that feels grounded, decisive, and sustainable, not reactive or performance-driven.
