I have for over 10 years now successfully coached clients as they prepared for their first and subsequent SAT sittings. My Clients usually see a minimum of 100 points score improvement after working with me.

With 8 years of SAT tutoring experience, I've had the privilege of working with students at every level — from high-achievers who went on to earn acceptance to MIT and Harvard, to student-athletes racing to meet their school's admissions bar, to teens who had struggled with the test time and time again before finally finding their footing. No two students are the same, and I've learned that the most effective tutoring meets each person exactly where they are. My extensive background in teaching high school mathematics, from Algebra to Calculus, at prestigious institutions like The Leffell School and Léman Manhattan Preparatory School, equips me with the skills to help students excel in their SAT math sections. I hold a Master’s Degree in Applied Statistics and Decision-Making from Gabelli School of Business, which enhances my ability to teach complex mathematical concepts in an accessible way. Since 2014, I have been prepping students for the SAT across three different versions of the exam. In the course of my time as a full-time tutor, I have worked with more than 500 SAT students. My experience is not limited to just those hoping for super-high scores to get into elite colleges, although I have certainly worked with such students. Instead, I have worked with students starting at every stage in the prep process and every starting point in terms of score. I offer full test preparation for both the Math section and the Reading and Writing section. Students who spend at least 10 sessions with me are likely to see at least a 100-point improvement in their composite score. Those with more than 20 sessions often see improvement more in the 150-200 point range. However, even those who book only a few session can also benefit, as time going over test-taking strategy and calculator skills can provide a boost of around 50 points.

I graduated from Harvard with the John Harvard Scholarship (top 5% GPA), a major in Integrative Biology, and a minor in Computer Science. I have over 6 years of experience working as a full-time tutor for the ACT, SAT, and SSAT. I have worked with over 25 clients on the SAT alone, and I have taken almost every practice test that has been released since 2014. In my free time, I create SAT software for the TI-Nspire Calculator and free online instructional videos for a wide audience. On average, my students have enjoyed improvements of anywhere between 150-250 points on the SAT. I know how to teach the Writing sections so that you will receive a perfect score. Two of my students have increased their scores from 600-800 in this section, and most of my students end my program scoring perfectly on the writing section especially. In the two tutoring companies I have worked for in the past, I was promoted to the highest tutoring status. I also work with college admissions, and of the six students I worked with this year, three received interviews with Harvard. I tutor full-time, and I am ready to help you reach the score of your dreams.

Since taking the SAT in 2018, I've used my experiences studying for and taking the exam to help students achieve similar results. Of all standardized tests, the SAT is arguably the most consistent and predetermined (i.e. you're always guaranteed to get X number of questions per concept in the math sections). I leverage this knowledge to create a well rounded approach to studying for my students to ensure they are positioned to score exceptionally well and strengthen their undergraduate application.
