But, I managed to go from a 530 to a 730 (Q49) within 2 months of focused, guided effort from a coach and want to share that knowledge with you. The practice exam before my final test was a 760.

I emphasize comprehension rather than memorization: Instead of just giving you rules to remember, I help you figure out why they work. There's no magic formula that makes the GMAT easy, but with my techniques, it won't feel too hard. A good GMAT tutor should meet students where they are, and I always strive to do this. If you know a concept but struggle to apply it to certain tricky problems, I can help you with that. Alternatively, if you need something explained from the ground up, I can help with that too. I am flexible enough to work within your mental framework, rather than imposing something completely unfamiliar. My goal is to find explanations and methods that work for you, even if they aren’t entirely standard. I'll make sure to warn you if you're heading in a wrong direction, but for the most part I view GMAT tutoring as an opportunity to help you leverage skills that you already have. I've been coaching the GMAT for almost as long as distance learning has been around. However, my story really starts in 2006, the year I notched a nifty 770 on my GMAT and received a scholarship to the USC - Marshall School of Business. In the following years, I made the Graduate Dean's list in 3 semesters, and excelled at such courses as Microeconomics, Corporate Finance, and Statistics. My general academic interests fun rather parallel to the topics of the GMAT, and I sincerely feel that any incoming b-school student should have excellent capabilities in reading comprehension, argumentation, and college level quantitative skills. In the decade I've been coaching students in the GMAT, I've worked with nearly 250 people over a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds, and thus have dozens of success stories from students who succeeded in increasing their scores by 100+ points! I have had a wide variety of students, but I would consider my niche to be veterans/active military, folks with learning disabilities, and those in search of a scholarship
