When I started my MBA admissions journey, I decided I would figure out the admissions process myself. In hindsight, I wish I hadn't. Writing essays for each of my target schools and editing and re-editing my resume was an arduous process that would have been more efficient had I sought advice from someone who had been through the process. Ultimately, I landed admits from multiple M7 and top 15 MBA programs, and received my MBA from University of Michigan's Ross School of Business on full scholarship. During this process I learned much about what makes for a successful MBA applicant and interviewed many successful (and unsuccessful) candidates as an admissions interviewer.
