I applied to every top MBA program in the country without a consultant and got into all five: Stanford GSB, HBS, Wharton, Booth, and MIT Sloan. Merit scholarships from each. Multiple full rides. GRE: 99th percentile after four weeks of prep. Five for five. I was admitted as one of the youngest members of the Stanford GSB Class of 2027. I hold multiple campus leadership roles, and outside of Stanford I serve as an Appointed Advisor to California Governor Gavin Newsom. Previously, I was an executive at a YCombinator-backed AI startup and the founding analyst of Accenture Strategy's Private Equity practice. My partner and co-coach is a JD/MBA at Wharton/Penn and a former McKinsey consultant. My own path to business school was anything but linear. I had a mix of experiences across tech, consulting, startups, and government, and I know what it takes to turn a complex background into a story admissions committees fight over. I've coached 15+ students on MBA admissions and career coaching, and am a multiple fellowship-winning writer, so I work with you hands-on from narrative strategy through final essay polish. About Raj
I was a straight-C student in high school, dealing with personal circumstances that made academics feel like an afterthought. I didn't have a counselor mapping out my path or parents who'd been through the process. I figured it out on my own — turned things around at Claremont McKenna, built a career across startups and government, and applied to Stanford GSB without a consultant. I'm on campus right now, and I know what this place is actually looking for because I see it every day. I'm not here to give you a formula. I'm here to help you find your story and tell it in a way that lands.
Why do I coach?
Nobody coached me through any of this. I didn't have an admissions consultant, I didn't come from a family that knew how the game worked, and I made every mistake you can make before I figured out what actually matters in an application. That's exactly why I coach — I know what it's like to not have someone in your corner, and I know how much further you can go when you do. I want to be the person I didn't have.
