My approach is informed by my winding journey through the intensity of the Army Special Forces, the fast-paced and hyper-competitive of world Silicon Valley, and most recently, the endlessly fascinating world of coaching. I focus on military applicants, who face the added challenge of translating their stories into language that resonates with the admissions committee. That’s where I help the most. I’m intimately familiar with the service to school transition because I’ve done it, gaining admission to my three target schools – Stanford, Berkeley, and MIT – all while still on deployment.

Coming from a non-target undergraduate institution and non-target work place I secured admission at MIT and Harvard and know how difficult it is to do so. While in my MBA program I worked at Bridgewater Associates and then had offers from Goldman Sachs TMT SF and Morgan Stanley Tech Investment banking groups. I also won the P.D. Soros Fellowship for New Americans (1% acceptance rate, $90,000) and the Zuckerman Fellowship (full ride at Harvard + Stanford), which helped fund a large part of my graduate degree.

Was admitted to multiple M7 business schools and was the Veteran's association Co-President at MIT Sloan where I analyzed many applications for MIT and other business schools. In my coaching career, I have assisted 100+ candidates applying to business schools (mostly M7 but have experience across most T20) and provided coaching on school selection, resume reviews, essay storylining and brainstorming, as well as interview preparation. With all of my clients I ensure that their application brings together many unique perspectives, and I focus on helping them craft and tell powerful stories that will capture admission committee attention.
