I’m a graduate of Middlebury College, where I studied Economics and Philosophy and graduated magna cum laude. Since then, I’ve built a career in private equity, with previous experience in consulting at L.E.K. and investing at Cambridge Associates and Summit Partners. Along the way, I’ve developed a deep understanding of what top colleges and employers look for. I work with students to craft standout personal statements, build cohesive application narratives, and shape extracurriculars into a compelling and authentic profile. I’ve helped students gain admission to Ivy League schools and top liberal arts colleges by helping them find their unique voice and strategy. I especially enjoy working with students who are multidimensional — balancing academics with music, sports, or other passions — and want their full story to shine through in the application process.

I’m a Harvard College graduate, Harvard MBA, venture capital investor, and Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree. I’ve spent my career in highly selective environments, both earning admission to them and evaluating talent within them. I understand what top universities look for beyond grades and test scores. As someone who successfully navigated elite admissions and later assessed high-potential founders and leaders as an investor, I know how decision-makers evaluate potential, leadership, intellectual curiosity, and long-term trajectory. I take a humanistic, there's a school/program-for-everyone approach to college coaching. I've previously worked in admissions at Ivy League schools and in student affairs. I've also I've coached students, from first-year's in high school to seniors that got into Penn, Cornel and MIT, to name a few. I care about getting to know you so that we can find schools that aren't just the "best programs," but the "right fit." Ultimately, if don't enjoy life outside the classroom, you're more likely to be miserable inside the classroom. Being the daughter of immigrations, oldest of three siblings AND a first generation college student here in the US, you could say that I had a lot of hurdles to jump over when I was applying to undergrad. Having my residency status stacked against me as an international student, I discovered the hard way how difficult getting into a competitive undergrad program could be when you do not have the right tools to help yourself. Since then, I have always made an effort to work with high school students specifically so that I can pay forward everything that I learned. While i was able to figure things out on my own - there was so much struggle that I would not wish on anyone else. Whether you are a citizen or not, I would be happy to help guide you through the undergraduate application process. We can discuss schools to apply too and work on your application and essays together to give you the best chances of getting into the school of your dreams.

College admissions can be incredibly daunting. I remember being in your shoes and wondering what I should write, where I should apply, and what to say during my interviews. Ten years later, I have been through this process several times now to gain admission to college and medical schools. My experience has taught me that it is incredibly important to spend time reflecting on your goals and how your background has helped you formulate them. Only then can you begin to craft a stellar application that will not only stand out to admissions committees, but also stay true to yourself.
