I ultimately chose Harvard, a decision that changed my life. I want to help others do the same. 📄 Admissions essay review: Since graduating from Harvard, I've had a successful career in consulting and investment advisory, through which I've honed strong written and verbal communication skills, which I then leveraged to succeed in the master's and J.D. process. I am a strong writer and editor, having won several awards for my book-length undergraduate thesis. I came from a working-class background and navigated college admissions without the help of guidance counselors and got into elite colleges. I've helped many soon-to-be-college grads do the same. Here's the insight: what colleges want to know is whether or not you are smart, thoughtful, ambitious, and if you'll fit into their school's mold. Those usually sound like: High GPA, High LSAT, and a ton of extracurricular activities that pad your college resume. But not everybody has those items -- and not everyone needs them to get into great schools. That’s where I come in. I specialize in helping students identify the 'hidden assets' in their background: the grit, the unique perspective, and the authentic voice that standardized tests simply can’t capture.
