Going to the Air Force Academy was the best decision of my life. Because I went to school there, I earned my master's degree from Harvard (for free), got a job at one of the best places to work (Bain), and even met my wife. After it gave me so much, I wanted to give back to the Academy by serving as an admissions support officer. In this position, I mentored and evaluated 5 applicants, learning exactly what Service Academies look for in potential candidates. The application process is complex and intimidating, but, I'm ready to support you at every step. Service Academies aren't for everyone, but they are truly life-changing. I've worked with students across 6 admissions cycles to help them gain admission to some of the top universities in the country, including Harvard, Johns Hopkins, and UC Berkeley, and many have received full rides. I hold an MBA from UCLA, a Certificate in College Counseling from UCSD, and a bachelor's from Wellesley College.

Even though I attended a high school recognized as a college preparatory school, I found it difficult to find access to college counselors, SAT and ACT prep, and information about private institutions outside of the state. Moreover, during my college application cycle, my college counselor highly suggested I keep his college search within a more “reasonable” scope. I spent countless weeks and hours crafting my applications and was accepted into 14 of the 18 universities I applied to. I was the first in his high school to attend Stanford. Thus, I am passionate about guiding students and parents through this process to ensure their success! My greatest strengths as a coach include helping candidates develop and execute a project plan and timeline, identify a list of schools tiered for maximum success and admission reassurance, and highlight their strengths and voice in their essays. Additionally, I am highly skilled in interview preparation, helping students curate a stellar resume, and tailoring essays to fit the expectations for each desirable school choice.

I am a 2021 Wharton graduate, with 2 years of professional application coaching experience. During my MBA, I coached 15+ MBA students with career guidance, resume critiques, and interview prep. I first encountered coaching when I was applying to matriculate as an MBA in 2019. At that time, I realized how important an application coach could be, not only for the specialized toolset and knowledge base, but also for the encouragement during a high pressure application process. I am motivated to be that source of calm and focus during what can otherwise be a stressful application process. I am excited to dive into your background and help you uncover a narrative that will help you show you stand out to top programs.

I graduated from Harvard with the John Harvard Scholarship (top 5% GPA), a major in Integrative Biology, and a minor in Computer Science. I have over 6 years of experience working as a full-time tutor for the ACT, SAT, and SSAT. I have also worked as a college essay consultant for the past two years. I have worked with over ten clients by giving interviews and assisting with college essays. Out of the five clients I worked with during this admissions cycle, four received interviews at Harvard. On average, my students have enjoyed improvements of anywhere between 150-250 points on the SAT. I know how to teach the Writing sections so that you will receive a perfect score. Two of my students have increased their scores from 600-800 in this section, and most of my students end my program scoring perfectly on the writing section especially. My ACT tutoring prep follows similar statistics. In the two tutoring companies I have worked for in the past, I was promoted to the highest tutoring status. I tutor full-time, and I am ready to help you reach the score of your dreams.

While I was in college, I worked for two years as a Student Outreach Mentor for GEAR UP, a federally-funded program designed to help students prepare for college. In this role, I mentored students 1:1 to help them complete the FAFSA, prepare for the ACT/SAT, and apply for college and scholarships. Personally, I've received over $150,000 worth of scholarships for undergraduate and grad school, and I can help with identifying opportunities, crafting your story, writing essays, and highlighting other accomplishments.

Experienced with the standard overachiever high school track of clubs, off campus programs, APs, competitions etc. at a top 10 US public high school. Accepted to multiple top institutions and enrolled in University of Pennsylvania, where I graduated with 2 undergraduate degrees. Also coached international Chinese students looking to get into top US colleges / grad programs.

I am passionate about helping students gain admission to top colleges by presenting their authentic interests, passions, and experiences in a compelling and cohesive way. Through my YouTube channel (youtube.com/c/JasmineRodriguez), which has grown to over 8,000 subscribers, I have shared admissions guidance with thousands of students. I supported several subscribers one-on-one in successfully navigating the college application process and earn admission to top schools such as Stanford. My approach is not about manufacturing the “perfect” applicant, but helping students identify what genuinely makes them distinctive and communicate that story effectively throughout their application.
