I help people break into venture capital by combining real fund experience, deep exposure to early-stage investing, and hands-on operational context from building companies myself. I’ve worked inside VC funds, evaluated startups across multiple sectors, supported diligence processes, and built relationships throughout the ecosystem. On the operator side, I’ve founded and scaled my own startup, advised dozens of early-stage teams, and worked closely with founders on fundraising, financial analysis, storytelling, and go-to-market strategy. Because I’ve lived both sides of the table, I’m able to teach not just how to get into VC, but how to think like an investor—how to evaluate companies, form an investment thesis, communicate your judgment, and stand out in interviews. I help clients translate their background into a compelling VC narrative and build the skills, frameworks, and confidence needed to enter and thrive in the industry.

I was an MBA Investment Associate at a student-run venture capital group at Wharton. I also recently recruited for a summer internship in climate tech VC, where I went through the process of crafting my own investment thesis.

I have >10 years of investment experience across three different asset classes. This has allowed me to build a unique framework to capital allocation in the VC space. I broke into Venture Capital with 0 years of experience, in a market where I had no network, during a recessionary period. I can coach on (i) network building, (ii) thesis creation, (iii) interview prep, (iv) case studies and (v) IC pitches. I am happy to share frameworks for analyzing management teams and ranking idea quality. There are many ways to probe founders to gain insights beyond what they intend to disclose. As a Growth Equity Investor at TZP Group, I have a deep understanding of the venture capital world. I have originated, diligenced, and evaluated Series A & B companies within the software and internet spaces. I have interviewed at many of the best VCs and Growth Equity firms and know what it takes to land a job at the best!

As the lead of the Growth Equity Investing Sleeve for Goldman Sachs’ One Million Black Women Initiative, I encountered dozens of founders and fund managers with scale more in line with venture than growth. This experience expanded my technical ability and network to understand the nuances of deal sourcing, execution and portfolio management for early stage companies through the lens of both returns and impact.

I bring over 8 years of comprehensive venture capital, operations, and investment experience across multiple stages and sectors. As a Venture Associate at Rethink Impact, I was team member number four, so I understand the ins and outs of what is required to build and run a venture capital firm, from due diligence to writing investment memos, building cap tables, deal sourcing, fundraising, and portfolio construction. I currently serve on the Investment Committee for Resilient Ventures where I continue to evaluate and invest in early-stage technology companies. With dual Harvard graduate degrees (MBA and Public Policy) and experience as Chief of Staff at a venture-backed fintech company, I understand both the investor and entrepreneur perspectives.
