Executive Leadership & Product Coach | x-Amazon, Box, Iterable, Apollo
I'm the founder of Kind But Tough, an executive and product coaching practice built on a simple conviction: true leadership isn't a choice between empathy and accountability, it's the radical integration of both.
Before coaching, I spent over twenty years in product, building and scaling enterprise B2B/B2B2C/B2C SaaS at Amazon, including Seller Central, Prime Video and Alexa, and at Box, Iterable, Apollo, and Marketo. I've built products from the ground up, hired and grown the teams and culture around them, and led the launch of Journey Assist, a first-to-market gen-AI journey builder. Across my career I've owned the strategy behind more than $200M in active ARR growth, navigated the politics that come with leadership, made the hard calls under real pressure, and sat on the hiring side deciding who got the offer. I know this work from the inside, the wins, the failures, and the inflection points where the skills that got you here stop being the ones that carry you forward.
I coach product builders and leaders the way I led: kind enough to tell you the truth, tough enough to walk through it with you. As a Gallup CliftonStrengths and UC Berkeley certified executive coach, I ground your growth in your real strengths rather than a generic playbook. Whether you're sharpening strategy, stepping into people leadership, weighing an AI-first bet, or preparing to land your next role, you get a thinking partner who has actually been in the seat, sees the patterns you can't, and is in it with you.
