With a robust background in private equity and strategic finance, I bring a wealth of experience to help you navigate the competitive landscape of investment banking and private equity careers. As a former Private Equity Associate at Ara Partners, I worked on five portfolio companies and closed two platform investments in the energy / decarbonization sector, providing me with firsthand insights into the intricacies of the industry. My journey also includes roles at EIG (an infrastructure PE fund) and J.P. Morgan, where I honed my skills in energy infrastructure and investment banking. I am well-equipped to guide you through the nuances of private equity applications and interviews, especially if you have an engineering background. I am also a graduate of Harvard Business School (MBA) and Princeton University, and closely worked with the admissions team on crafting an overall admissions strategy. I secured an internship and a full-time offer at the most prestigious group at JP Morgan, all while coming from a non-target university. I continue to stay connected with my former colleagues, many of whom have become Managing Directors at Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Bank of America, as well as leading hedge funds, private equity, and venture capital firms.

I have over ten years of investment banking experience, spanning bulge bracket and boutique / middle market firms, such as JPMorgan, Blackstone (now PJT), and Lincoln International. I primarily worked on mergers & acquisitions, capital raises, and restructuring engagements. After banking, I co-founded two companies and raised nearly $40m in VC funding. I currently work with start-ups and high-growth companies as a fractional CFO or consultant. I have also led investment banking new hire training programs, as well as on-campus investment banking interview prep seminars, for the last 8 years.

I worked for two years at Morgan Stanley in the Tech Banking Group in NYC under Jeff Hoffmeister and Michael Grimes. I worked on a number of IPO and M&A opportunities and made a successful jump to a VC / GE job in NYC investing in Series A/B Tech companies

I am an excellent story teller and can help you prep your pitch and for behavioral questions. I also came into banking with no finance background so can help you really break down the technicals. Before Wharton, I spent four years as an M&A attorney at Kirkland & Ellis and Paul, Weiss, advising private-equity sponsors on acquisitions, carve-outs, and complex financings. I then transitioned to the investing side, working in investment banking at Guggenheim Securities (Healthcare Services) and now in private equity at GenNx360 Capital Partners, where I partner directly with management teams to drive value creation. Across these roles I’ve interviewed, mentored, and successfully guided 10+ candidates through competitive investment banking recruiting, from networking strategy and technical prep to final-round interview coaching. I combine real transaction experience with a step-by-step approach so clients gain both the skills and the confidence to land offers at leading banks.
