I'm an investor with 10 years of experience across hedge funds, growth equity and investment banking. I spent the last 8 years in the hedge fund world with roles at Citadel and Echo Street (~$15bn long short and long only manager) focusing on both public equities and private growth equity investments. I have spent time in both long-duration strategies with a focus on business quality and shorter-duration modelling-intensive strategies. I started my career at Goldman Sachs in Investment Banking. I graduated first class honors from Queen's University and held multiple internships throughout college in finance including at Goldman Sachs in my junior summer where I received a full time offer. My approach is personal. I can help candidates break into hedge funds, growth equity and investment banking roles including deep dives into stock ideas, thesis crafting and conviction, valuation and risk analysis and mock interviews. Most recently, I was a Vice President in the EMEA Structured Finance & Lending team (formerly Principal Funding and Investments) at Goldman Sachs. I left Goldman Sachs in 2024 to attend Harvard Business School. I have worked across multiple asset classes, including Credit, Equities, Rates and FX, and have experience with managing people and sub-businesses within the desk. I have deployed over $1bn of capital during my career, primarily into private and structured credit. These have all been in principal risk transactions involving the firm's capital. As part of my portfolio management responsibilities, I also frequently traded credit, equity, and interest rate derivatives. Throughout my career, I have been a successful hiring manager, intern sponsor, mentor, and advocate for many. I have built a sterling reputation over time through a strong trading track record and by taking an active interest in developing and training the people around me by providing support and mentorship.

I’m an investment professional with 10+ years across hedge funds, private equity–style investing, and structured/alternative credit, currently at Kawa Capital and previously at Obra Capital, Hudson Structured Capital Management, and Canyon Partners. My background combines hands-on deal work, portfolio management, and investment due diligence with direct involvement in recruiting and mentoring analysts and associates trying to break into buy-side roles. I draw on an MSc in Finance & Private Equity from the London School of Economics and a BA in Economics & Mathematics from Cornell University to help candidates sharpen their technical skills, tell a coherent story, and target the right platforms and strategies for their profile. As a coach, I focus on practical, no-nonsense guidance on resumes, networking, and interview prep so you understand how investors actually think and can position yourself competitively in a crowded hedge fund and private equity recruiting market.

I'm happy to advise on all aspects of a hedge fund career, from LinkedIn and resume review to fund launch and portfolio management. I manage a hedge fund I founded with a partner in 2020 focused on mispriced securities of all kinds in North America and Europe. I've sat on a public company board and help manage an educational endowment. Previously, I was a Principal at Taconic Capital Advisors, where I worked for almost 20 years and managed investments including convertible securities, distressed credit, special situations and long-short equities. I managed our London office and European business for 8 years and launched and managed public and private investments in Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, and Chile. My first full-time job was as an investment banking analyst at JP Morgan after I graduated from Harvard.

I'm currently a CIO, Portfolio Manager at a hedge fund and have spent my career across investment banking, consulting, venture capital, and buy-side investing. I help aspiring and early-career investors think more clearly about markets, stock selection, and portfolio construction.
