I’ve served as a delegate to the United Nations and held board roles at The New School and AIGA NY, the largest professional design organization in the country. My mantra is to be helpful. If I'm not helpful, I'll get out of your way. So much about career satisfaction has to do with fit. Find a place that values you for the things you're uniquely good at and being at work can feel fun, exciting, and also rewarding. I attended Harvard for undergrad and Stanford for my masters. I've worked at 10 person start-ups to 100,000 person companies like Google. I've been an individual contributor and also managed teams of 20+; throughout these experiences, I've learned some of the best questions to ask myself (and others) that can help identify and then successfully get into roles with the best fit.
