I was lucky to meet Ted at BCG. Over the years we've known each other, he's mentored me through every stage of my career - leaving consulting, applying to MBA (am now at GSB), and deciding which path to take for my MBA summer internship. From his credentials you can tell he is competent, driven, and a hard worker. I'm here to tell you what isn't obvious from logos on a page - about how much he cares, about how intuitive he is, about his ability to help me structure my messy ideas into actionable next steps. His ability to empower me without telling me what to do. Ted is an empathetic listener. His biggest joy is from empowering others around him. Fun fact - his recommendation letter for my girlfriend's MBA application was so good they brought it up during her HBS interview (the school she ended up attending). If you're applying to MBA (or thinking about it) do yourself a favor and work with Ted.

I have worked with Amelia for five years. She took the time to truly understand who my child is, not just their academic strengths, but their interests, values, and how they learn best. With that insight, she helped shape an academic plan that felt purposeful and balanced. Her support helped my child make thoughtful decisions about classes and stay motivated along the way. She also introduced summer programs that we never would have found on our own. Each one matched my child’s interests and opened doors to new experiences that helped them grow and stay curious outside of the classroom. When it came to extracurriculars, Amelia encouraged my child to focus on what mattered most to them. It never felt like she was helping them build a résumé. My child felt supported and grounded throughout what could have been an overwhelming process. I am incredibly grateful for Amelia’s wisdom, patience, and belief in my child. I had previously worked with two of the largest unicorns in Africa and Latin America, taken the GMAT, and was ready to begin my MBA applications. However, I recognized the need for a coach to help me structure my story, strengthen my application materials, and present my profile effectively across different schools. A friend in Lagos introduced me to Andrew, and that introduction made all the difference. I’m now an alum of UNC Kenan-Flagler, and Andrew’s coaching continues to be a professional asset.
