About Nikita (Mykyta)
My name is Mykyta (Nikita) Vorobiov, and I am an Oxford-based political analyst of Russian-Ukrainian origin. Since April 2022, I have produced monthly reports for one of the most influential US think-tanks, the Center for European Political Analysis (CEPA), worked as a Senior Editor for the European Bureau of JURIST, and developed articles for VoxEurop and EJO. My specialism is the political life of Russia and Eastern Europe. I have received my formal education at six universities in five countries. I hold a BA in Ethics and Politics from Bard College Berlin, and pursue an MSc in Russian and East European Studies at the University of Oxford, where I was granted a prestigious EAA Qatar scholarship, becoming one of its three nominees of the year 2025. Over the course of my academic path, I have studied at six universities in five countries (including exchanges) and was awarded more than 150,000 USD in scholarships for my studies..
Why do I coach?
I remember vividly 10 months between the moment I figured out which universities I would like to apply to and the actual offer of a full scholarship at Oxford. These were months full of ups and downs, as well as pitfalls that no website told me about. I was lucky to have a mentor helping me polish my motivation letters and CV. Without her, the process would have been even more complicated. Now it is my turn to pass on this knowledge and help the applicants transfer smoothly into a new chapter in their academic path. I know that most applicants already have a lot on their plates. Thus, my goal is simple - reduce the headaches connected with your applications and help you hone your writing. My priority will be international students who desire to study in the EU or the UK for their Master`s in Humanities or Social Sciences. However, my experience from Bard College equipped me with skills to consult BA applicants and those wanting to pursue their studies in the US. I would be thrilled to broaden my mentorship horizons and help you if my expertise matches your request.
