Landing an internship is a group effort. I had many people help me along my consulting journey, but Brendan stands out from the pack. When I was first starting out to case, Simo was in the thick of recruiting. He reached out to me since we were on an email list, just hoping to get as many case reps as possible. After giving him just one case, I realized that I had to keep scheduling times to case with him. Even though I didn’t even know how to size a market or how to calculate profitability, he was so patient. I specifically remember one day we were running a case together and he took an extra thirty minutes just to explain how to even begin to size a market. Simo’s incredible patient and knowledge helped set me on a path to understand the correct approach to casing. A year later, I landed an internship with McKinsey. I could not have done it if Simo had not taken so much time out of his busy casing schedule to teach me the right approach. He certainly did not have to do this– but it was so clear how much he wanted to see me do well. I have no doubt that Simo is the best case coach anyone can work with.

The best tutor I’ve had. I did not understand basic micro and he truly made it doable for me. Got a grade I could’ve only dreamed for in my econometrics course. Could not recommend more! He also spoke Spanish which helped me understand some concepts better!
