After completing my initial essay draft, I found myself unsure about applying to GSB. On a whim, I decided to seek feedback from current students/alumni to gauge the strength of my work. That's when I stumbled upon Rohan's profile and scheduled a session with him. Despite nearly canceling a few days before, I'm grateful that I followed through. Rohan's meticulous approach was evident in the detailed feedback he provided on my essay, pinpointing areas for improvement and structuring. His attention to detail surpassed my expectations, and the value I gained from our sessions far exceeded the cost

I've worked with a few consultants for my application and Angel has been the most in-depth and detailed mentor thus far. Angel took the time to understand my story as a whole, found ways to reflect this in the essays, and went line by line with me to make sure every aspect flowed together. She took my essays to a level that I didn't think was possible. Angel is thoughtful, responsive, and makes you truly confident in your application. I couldn't recommend a better person to work with.

Arielle is a great coach. I am interested in healthcare, so Arielle was able to leverage her domain expertise and offer guidance that is to the point. In addition, Arielle is resourceful and ready to answer all kinds of questions. She is consistent with her communications and we were able to collaborate even tho i had a busy schedule. I would recommend her as a coach!

Ben shared insightful advice by dissecting four essay samples, each showcasing a unique structure. He not only highlighted the strengths of each essay but also pointed out areas for improvement, which was truly inspiring. I wholeheartedly recommend attending this workshop or working with Ben for essay writing – you won't be disappointed! :)

Ben's expertise with the "What matters most?" essay shines through in this workshop. His insights not only provide clarity on the essay's intricacies but also demonstrate that there's no "right" approach. Beyond the valuable insights, Ben's humor creates a fun atmosphere in the workshop, making the essay feel approachable—not anxiety-inducing.

Ben is a wild wrecking ball that hits it home with the message you need to take away for writing your essay. Ben understands storytelling through the essay and has deep insightful thoughts on structuring the essay that tells a story that is unique about you. I learnt key things to my application from Ben - how to show not tell, how to embrace a clear concise message and write simply. As someone who suffers terribly from being abstract in thinking learning with Ben was a chiseling experience. You feel his passion for writing and it will perhaps inspire you as well to write. There is depth to the session and my suggestion is to come with lots of material already to work with Ben. He definitely is a valuable asset on your side.
