Even though I always wanted to pursue my MBA, I had doubts about applying to my dream program as it was a very selective business school (T15) and convinced myself that I wasn’t a strong enough candidate, having a low GPA & no-brand undergraduate program. When I connected with Kelsey, she provided new perspective and told me that I can be optimistic about my chances. Since MBA essays can be a very unnatural way of writing about yourself, Kelsey really helped me craft a “unique” and “personal” story on my essays that I believe was key to my admission at my dream program. She was extremely quick on her responses and even if Kelsey’s responses were quick, it helped me move from inch by inch to taking leaps in my essays. Kelsey should be the golden standard of how an admission consultant should be and as a former skeptic of using admission consultants in the past, Kelsey really changed my perspective so if you’re ever looking for a consulting service or MBA coach, Kelsey is your person and you will not regret it!

Working with Kelsey for interview preparation was game-changing. The interview guide she provided me and our mock session gave me the confidence to go into five interviews in a short time frame. She helped me nail down timing and tell my story in a concise and clear way. She provided me with tactics in case I got stuck and questions to ask the interviewer after. Kelsey is 1000% worth the investment! Before beginning the process of applying to business school, I had no idea where to start. I thought I didn’t have a shot at my top schools with my slightly below average test scores and what felt like an unoriginal story. Kelsey came in with kindness, empathy, patience, and tough love when needed to help me reframe my entire perspective about my story and my accomplishments. She is also incredibly efficient, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable about the admissions process — not to mention easily accessible when I bombarded her with questions and panicky messages. I am lucky enough to say that I was accepted into every school that I applied to (some even with scholarship), and I don’t think that would’ve happened if it weren’t for Kelsey. She believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself — which is exactly what you need in an admissions consultant. I truly couldn’t have gone through this process without her!

As an enlisted veteran with an unconventional undergrad experience, I knew I needed someone experienced in my corner to help me tell my story. Reading online about what others were paying for admissions consultants I was extremely sticker shocked. Not only was Kelsey the perfect fit for me but I found her prices extremely reasonable! She helped translate my accomplishments and experience in a way that ADCOM would receive positively. She was always extremely responsive even to questions I am sure she’s heard 100 times. I ended up with several acceptances including my “dream program,” Wharton! If you are on the fence about using an admissions consultant or worried about the ROI I can confidently say that you will not be disappointed!

I approached Kelsey after having spoken to 4 other consultants. Given the investment involved, I was skeptical about the value an admissions consultant would add to my applications. Making the decision to engage with Kelsey on my applications was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From the first intro call, I could tell she was different from other consultants, not only did she have strong experience as an adcom at CBS to draw from, but she also brought her unique way of going about the application process. Coming into the process, I wasn’t super confident about my odds at the top schools. But Kelsey was great at helping me organize my thoughts and highlight my strengths. She’s really good at helping you weave a cohesive narrative and framing your background and accomplishments in the strongest way possible, regardless of the school. The MBA admissions journey is long and has quite a few moving parts. Kelsey helped me compartmentalize each step, helping me stay focused and not stress. She is a great sounding board for ideas and will be honest when she thinks something is not going to work or will help frame something that has legs into something compelling. Kelsey was super quick with turning things around and answering my many questions at any time of the day. She is generous with her time and I never felt rushed when talking with her. If you want someone who is professional, knows her shit, and part therapist you cannot go wrong with Kelsey. I was very happy with how my admissions cycle played out and I truly believe I couldn’t have achieved that without Kelsey.

Kelsey is simply a master of her craft. From our first consultation, I knew I had struck gold and found someone who was familiar with the veteran experience and how to craft an application that highlights our value and validates the contributions we can bring to a school. As a result our collaboration, in true testament to her capabilities, I was accepted to an Ivy League school on our first application attempt. Kelsey truly treats her clients as if they are her only one, always attentive and quick to respond, and leave no questions unanswered

If there’s one thing I’d tell anyone starting the MBA application process, it’s to work with Kelsey. The whole thing is stressful, overwhelming and honestly kind of a black box, but having Kelsey in my corner was the calm in the chaos. She brings a ton of experience as a former AdCom, but more than that, she’s just incredibly kind, accessible, and real. Right from our first call—where she stayed on for an extra 30 minutes just to answer all my questions (even the silly ones)—I knew I was in good hands. She gives her personal number, responds super quickly (like, within a couple hours!), and genuinely makes you feel like you’re not doing this alone. One thing I really appreciated was how honest and transparent she was. She never sugarcoated anything, but somehow always delivered tough feedback in a way that made me feel encouraged, not defeated. I always felt clear on what was working, what needed work, and that she was truly a partner in the process—not just a consultant, but someone who cared about my story and was invested in helping me tell it well. Kelsey made a stressful process feel way less scary. She helped me tell my story in a way that felt authentic, and I always felt supported—through every draft, every interview prep session, and every little meltdown in between.

There aren’t enough words to summarize how impactful and supportive Kelsey has been throughout my MBA journey.
