Tyler was my first product mentor. His methodical approach to problem-solving and stellar organizational skills helped me gain a solid foundation in product management early in my career. Tyler’s guidance helped me approach product problems with a large focus on outcomes. He draws on both B2C and B2B experience when approaching opportunities and has a real knack for teaching others how to use data to justify prioritization. Neil was terrific. He introduced me to the different type of cases / interviews that one can expect from top management consulting firms. He's a patient listener and helped me identify where I could most effectively use my time preparing. I would 100% recommend Neil to anyone that is thinking about consulting as a career. It also helped that he went to a top MBA program and was able to speak about his experience there. I'm sure he'd be a great MBA coach as well!

As a student at University of Cincinnati (UC) I hadn't had exposure to MBB/T2 consulting. No one had ever received an offer from McKinsey at the undergrad level. I had done a consulting internship at AMEND Consulting, but I approached Musa with the hope of landing interviews at MBB firms. Musa helped me to go from not having any success with cold outreach via email and LinkedIn to connecting with consultants at all three MBB firms with various degrees of seniority. He helped me to write concise and tailored messages and directed me with specific steps of how to approach networking calls and referrals. Through the referrals I obtained I was able to land interviews at both BCG and McKinsey. Ultimately, I was able to reach the final round of interviews at BCG and become the first UC student to land a McKinsey offer during undergrad. His help with networking, mock cases, and behavioral prep/PEI was instrumental in me landing an offer as I had a very limited network of case and behavioral interview prep buddies to lean on from UC. Musa and I still keep in touch and the skills I developed from the prep I did with him for consulting continued to paid dividends in my following year's recruiting process (I received a return offer at McKinsey to be a full-time Business Analyst but ultimately chose to pursue private equity at Alpine Investors and was readily prepared for the case interview portion of that recruiting process). I highly recommend him to anyone at any stage of their career looking to make a pivot to management consulting.

Tyler has been one of the most critical career accelerants of my PM journey. The path to my current role (Product Manager) began in Business Operations, then to Data Science, then to Product which was nearly identical to Tyler’s. When I realized how unique and well-rounded Tyler’s career experience was, I immediately sought him out as a coach to help me make the right choices along the way. If I had to describe Tyler’s contributions to my career transitions in a word, it would be “essential.” Tyler is a natural teacher. He has a unique knack for reflecting on a situation or scenario – weeding it down to only the most critical takeaways and turning it into a learning moment. An example of this that comes to mind is when he taught me how to interview for Product Management roles. Tyler and I went back and forth conducting case interviews, and at each conclusion, he took a few minutes to explain what went well, what didn’t, and what to focus on next time. This resulted in me making legitimate, step-wise improvements to my craft until I was ready to interview. Then, when I had offers, Tyler was my go-to partner to weigh each one against the other. Because he knew me so well by that point (via the coaching), his advice was customized to my profile and resulted in me making a choice I was both confident in and excited about. Tyler is a giver. He is generous with his time and patient in his style. Please consider him as a coach regardless of what step in the coaching journey you are in.

Jineet was truly an amazing coach and went out of his way to ensure that I get a job in Management Consulting.
