Shashank was an exceptional coach to work with and a huge value add to my product work. He consistently met me where I was, asked sharp clarifying questions, and gave feedback that was both strategic and immediately actionable. What stood out most was how deeply he engaged with my thinking. He didn’t just comment on surface-level execution. He took the time to review my prioritization framework, quantitative reasoning, and product trade-offs, and helped me sanity-check my assumptions in a way that built real confidence in my decision-making. His feedback pushed me to be more rigorous while still moving quickly. On the product side, his review of my prototypes was incredibly thoughtful. He helped me identify which concept was most compelling to take forward, clearly articulated why it aligned with real PM pain points and company strategy, and then went several layers deeper on how to strengthen the MVP. Matthew is strategic and practical at the same time. He is not the kind of coach who just gives you questions to question your questions (unfortunately, just like other coaches I have met). He really puts you forward, not just with his experience and skills, but also by referring you to his network, even on the first session. I think other coaches need to learn how to coach from Matthew because his work shows that coaching helps. From now on, insyaAllah, I will invest in my personal growth by investing in coaching with Matthew.
