About Himmat
I bring 15+ years of experience to coaching. I've navigated difficult situations, from layoffs to pivots, with success, while growing my career from Individual Contributor to Product Executive. I've worked at successful startups and large corporations, started and shut-down a company, built early-stage products and optimized late-stage products, hired / mentored / performance-managed people, and led multi-year roadmaps. I lead the AI portfolio for a fast growing SaaS provider, where I also manage a team of 8 product managers. Being an active practitioner ensures my advice is grounded "in the real world". I have a MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA from Brown University. Outside of work, I enjoy time with my family and 2 dogs. We camp in the summers and explore (far too many) hobbies the rest of the year. I raise money for charity, swim open water, read history books and make ice cream.
Why do I coach?
Helping people grow has been a top source of joy for me in my career. I've coached hundreds of people and have directly led teams of 40+ people. I measure my success by how much these people have grown, and by how often they reach back out or refer me to others. I have been lucky to have phenomenal mentors myself. And I emulate them daily. Coaching will be my full time job in the near future. Until then, I'm selectively growing my practice, while also leading an ambitious AI initiative at a leading SaaS provider.
