Brandon was a guiding light in my business school admissions journey! As an alumnus himself I found Brandon’s insights on my target school, NYU Stern, to be invaluable to their unique application. After years of working with numbers and little experience with serious writing since college, his advice was turnkey to my essays. I successfully got into Stern! I have had the privilege of working with Levi & I can say without hesitation that he is the real deal. What sets him apart from others in this space is that he has done the work. He has built production AI systems, navigated the genuinely messy parts of enterprise data environments & found ways to make all of it accessible to the people around him. That last part is what I think makes him exceptional as a mentor and coach. He has a rare ability to take something deeply technical & strip it back to its core logic before rebuilding it in a way that actually sticks. I have seen him work with people at very different levels of technical fluency & he adjusts instinctively. He never makes you feel like your question is too basic, but he never oversimplifies to the point of being condescending either. He just finds your level and meets you there. He is generous with his knowledge & his time in a way that is increasingly rare. Nikhil is an A* coach, and I can’t recommend him highly enough! A few years ago I moved to London after finishing business school to start a new career in investment banking. After several unsuccessful applications, I approached Nikhil following a referral from an acquaintance. His initial guidance helped me present my credentials and ambition more powerfully on paper, particularly as I didn’t have a typical finance background, and I then started getting invited for more interview processes. More important still, he helped me develop unshakeable self-confidence and methods for managing intense scrutiny during interviews which were priceless in securing my first Analyst role. During my Analyst and early Associate years, Nikhil helped me develop the softer ‘senior’ skills I needed to become a trusted client-facing adviser, which really fast-tracked my development. Unlike most of my peers, I was trusted by Directors and MDs with managing client meetings on my own and was frequently commended for performing at a level significantly beyond my grade. Because of this, I was able to secure a lateral move to a VP role whilst I was still an Associate. I don’t know many people who can say that, thanks to Nikhil!
