I began my GRE journey in 2017 with an official score of 317. Over the years, I worked with multiple coaches, yet my score refused to move and I couldn’t even break 320. That’s when I stopped chasing tips and started treating the GRE like a game to be decoded. I did a deep, data-driven analysis of my mistakes, patterns, and test behavior, and rebuilt my preparation from first principles. After six months of focused self-study in 2025, I raised my score to 333, including a 170 in Quant. Today, I help candidates who feel “stuck” do the same by replacing generic coaching with precise strategy, clarity, and execution that actually works.

My first score was in the 50th percentile. I studied my way to 99th percentile, so it's definitely possible. I have a 99th percentile score on the GMAT, GRE, and SAT, and have taught for Manhattan Prep, Kaplan, and Target Test Prep. I don't just teach the content. I teach how to think. I have a Masters in Education from Harvard and have written a book on the mental approach to standardized tests.

On the GRE, I scored a 168 on the Verbal, a 162 on the Quantitative, and a 5.5 on the Writing sections. The GRE is a game with rules to beating it. Hello! Having applied and been accepted into multiple graduated programs (MBA from Kellogg School of Management and MSc from the London School of Economics), I bring a wealth of knowledge and strategic insight to GRE preparation. I've taken the test multiple times and have firsthand experience seeing how one's score can increase with thoughtful, intentional, and dedicated preparation. Across 4 times I've taken the GRE, I've averaged a score of 330+ and have scored a 169 on verbal section (99th percentile) and 170 on the quant section (perfect score). I've also consistently scored 5s on the writing section if that is an area of focus. In preparing for my exams, I used many different resources (paid and unpaid) to polish and ameliorate the areas that needed improvement. Between the actual exams, tryout exams for jobs, and personal diagnostic exams, I have never scored below 99th-percentile on the LSAT, GMAT, nor GRE. I started in the industry in 2002 with Kaplan, and founded my own company in 2005. I was one of Veritas's (acquired by Varsity Tutors as their elite program) first instructors and a go-to instructor for most of their existence, teaching literally coast-to-coast until moving off of their grid in 2017. Career highlights include successfully writing and then teaching my own LSAT course, teaching over a dozen GMAT classes at Booth School of Business at University of Chicago, and tutoring around Silicon Valley at locations such as the Google campus, Stanford, and the San Francisco Financial District. In short, I've taught and tutored thousands of students within the elite model used by Veritas, Manhattan, and others, in which the highest-scoring instructors teach in small classrooms and focus on higher-end analytic aspects of the exam. I wrote my own LSAT course, and I contributed to the highly-regarded Veritas course and books. My students have gone on to attend the best law and business schools in the world.
