Hello there! I'm Habib, a first-year medical student at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Having recently navigated the medical school admissions process myself, I was accepted to 11 programs, giving me very recent insights into what it takes to succeed. My experience as an MCAT tutor with Blueprint Test Prep has honed my ability to develop personalized study plans and strategies, which I now apply to help aspiring medical students. As a physician myself, not only have I gone through the process of applying to medical school and Residency but have been on an admissions committee in the past where i received key insights directly into the admission process. Over the last 6 years, I have helped over 400 students gain admission into medical school, guiding them through the personal statement, secondaries, interviews, scholarships and beyond. Hey there! I’m currently a fourth-year medical student at Stanford, where my research focuses on psychiatry and neurology. Unlike many of my peers, my path to medicine was deeply shaped by the humanities. I graduated from Harvard, where I earned a rare joint concentration in neuroscience and philosophy. After college, I earned a master’s degree from Duke in bioethics, technology ethics, and science policy, and I furthered my neurophilosophy studies as a Fulbright scholar in Germany before starting medical school.
