I'm a Harvard MBA with MBB consulting experience, and a Chemical Engineer with 5+ years experience in operations and engineering roles before business school. I applied to five top MBA programs and was admitted to all (HBS, Wharton, MIT Sloan, Northwestern Kellogg, and Duke Fuqua), with over $500K in scholarship offers. I also received offers from the top 3 consulting firms (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) during business school. Since my own MBA journey, I have coached 30+ applicants across different backgrounds - helping them craft their stories, strengthen their strategy, and show up confidently. I'm a current MBA student at Stanford and former engineering at Google. I can't wait to join you on your MBA journey! As someone who has navigated the path from engineering leadership to entrepreneurship, I understand career pivots and how to tell your story in a compelling way. I am a patient and caring coach, eager to help with any aspect of the MBA admissions process.

I was invited to interview with all four MBA programs to which I applied (Wharton, HBS, Booth, and Sloan), and I completed this process not too long ago.

Despite being from an overrepresented demographic, I managed to get accepted into all three programs that I applied for (INSEAD, Oxford, and Berkeley). Additionally, I had major financial and time constraints because I already had 2 children (at the age of 28!) before applying to business school. I'm not a naturally good test-taker so I had to be both efficient and creative to pull this off. I was able to get into these programs because I'm strategic, resourceful, and know how to craft a story with the audience in mind. I have a lot of experience teaching/training and am excited to help you craft your story and demonstrate to admission committees that you are unique and that you have a lot of value to add to their programs.

I take a highly supportive approach to coaching and aim to create an environment in which my clients can be completely open about their worries so I can be the best possible coach for them. That said, you can expect me to be constructively candid – because coaching is about challenging you and accelerating your growth, not making you feel good so I can collect a check. In addition to sitting on both Stanford's and Northwestern's alumni admissions councils, I was an interviewer at Google and Facebook, so I've spent many hours "on the other side of the table" and can give you a strong sense for how you might be perceived by interviewers and admissions committees. I enjoy coaching people from a huge range of backgrounds, but I specialize in coaching folks from lower-income families, LGBTQ+ candidates, and those from unconventional backgrounds trying to thrive in tech.
