Dozie was a principal and a venture partner at the venture capital arm of George Kaiser Family Foundation. He was also a vice president at Red Arts Capital, a senior associate at Madison Dearborn Partners, a consultant at Boston Consulting Group and an associate at General Electric. He is also on the board of directors of A Red Orchid Theatre. He was on the board of directors of The Printing Museum. Dozie earned a bachelor of science, magna cum laude, in electrical engineering from the honors college of University of Mississippi, a master of supply chain management from Pennsylvania State University, a master of public policy from University of Cambridge as a Gates Cambridge Scholar, and a master of business administration from Harvard Business School.

I have been interviewing candidates as a Kellogg alum since 1993. I recruited Executive MBA candidates for Kellogg throughout Latin America and ran information sessions on the fulltime program while a Kellogg director. Later, I worked several years at two of the larger players in the MBA admissions consulting industry before deciding to offer the same services independently. Clients love my authenticity, enthusiasm, and sense of humor. But while a confessed porphyrophile, I have also helped clients get into a wide range of Top Twenty programs, including the M7.

As an alum of Harvard Business and Kennedy Schools, I navigated multiple graduate degree admissions processes. I’ve worked with candidates who have successfully applied to Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, MIT, and other top MBA programs. I started my career at Bain & Company and then worked in tech (biz ops and growth) before grad school. I have been closely involved in civic and public service opportunities including working at the US Treasury and serving as a State Delegate prior to school. While in my three-year MPP and MBA program, I worked in Venture Capital and Growth Equity investing at Norwest Venture Partners, Floodgate Ventures, and Summit Partners. I now run Growth Strategy @ Carta, a $7B tech co in Silicon Valley. I coach in my spare time because I love helping candidates distill their stories and present the best version of themselves to adcoms! When I applied, my partner was also interested in an MBA -- we wanted to maximize our chances of living in the same city during school, which led us to deeply research and contact admissions and alumni at all top 7 MBA programs to ensure we understood how we would be evaluated. After hundreds of hours of research myself, there is nothing I love more than being able to share that knowledge strategically & concisely with applicants. I particularly enjoy working with dual-degree candidates, candidates with public/non-profit sector experience and candidates interested in emerging tech and Venture Capital. As someone who applied with a partner, I can also speak to how various degree programs consider partner applications and strategy around managing dual-MBA families.

I was accepted and matriculated to Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business after 2 years of management consulting and 4 years working at Starbucks Coffee Company in Corporate Strategy and R&D and Innovation. I went to business school to explore startups and a role in the technology industry. I am now a Senior Product Manager at Intuit. I have advised 10+ individuals on school selection, application, and career strategy. There is lots of noise on the MBA application process and lots of a bad advice. What matters most (besides meeting or coming close to basic GPA, GMAT, and experience requirements) is that you tell your story in an authentic way and help admissions officers understand why you will help them I have been a career switcher and deeply enjoy helping others navigate MBA Programs and career path formation. As a recent graduate of UC Berkeley's MBA/MPH program, I’m passionate about helping others achieve their personal and professional aspirations. During my time at Haas, I gained unique insights into the MBA admissions process as an official student ambassador interacting with hundreds of applicants. I also worked in the career center, where I reviewed dozens of resumes and cover letters and led mock interviews for roles in healthcare, tech, and consulting. As a public speaking coach, I supported 25 students, including non-native English speakers, in building confidence and communication skills.
