When I started my MBA admissions journey, I decided I would figure out the admissions process myself. In hindsight, I wish I hadn't. Writing essays for each of my target schools and editing and re-editing my resume was an arduous process that would have been more efficient had I sought advice from someone who had been through the process. Ultimately, I landed admits from multiple M7 and top 15 MBA programs, and received my MBA from University of Michigan's Ross School of Business on full scholarship. During this process I learned much about what makes for a successful MBA applicant and interviewed many successful (and unsuccessful) candidates as an admissions interviewer. I take a highly supportive approach to coaching and aim to create an environment in which my clients can be completely open about their worries so I can be the best possible coach for them. In addition to sitting on both Stanford's and Northwestern's alumni admissions councils, I was an interviewer at Google and Facebook, so I've spent many hours "on the other side of the table" and can give you a strong sense for how you might be perceived by interviewers and admissions committees. I enjoy coaching people from a huge range of backgrounds, but I specialize in coaching folks from lower-income families, LGBTQ+ candidates, and those from unconventional backgrounds trying to thrive in tech.
