Welcome to my coaching profile! I have an MBA from Harvard Business School and work experience in private equity, investment banking, finance, operations and strategy roles. I was fortunate enough to be accepted into all of the M7 MBA programs where I applied. I graduated from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2024, where I received the Miller Social Change Leadership Award and the Building Opportunities for Leadership Diversity (BOLD) Fellowship. What gives me a unique perspective on crafting standout MBA applications is both the range and intentionality of my journey. I have worked across consulting, government, nonprofits, and startups in the U.S. and Latin America. As a biracial, first-generation student from a lower-income background with many different academic/professional interests and experiences (I've completed 13 internships between college and grad school!), I've often navigated spaces without a clear playbook and learned how to translate my experiences into a compelling narrative along the way. Because I have had to deeply reflect and connect the dots across my own path, I bring a thoughtful and structured approach to storytelling. I'll help you articulate a narrative that's distinctly your own and grounded in your unique strengths and lived experiences. I'm Ryan, a former musician turned consultant turned Duke Fuqua MBA, now working in finance at State Street in Boston. My journey to business school was driven by a mission to leave communities better than I found them—through work in climate/sustainability, impact investing, and international development. As the first in my family and network to pursue an MBA, I had to navigate the application process largely on my own. Now, I help others avoid the guesswork. Graduated from Kellogg School of Management's Full-time MBA program in 2018 - Accepted to 3 Top Tier MBA schools, received significant scholarships to all schools ($250k in total) and achieved 750 GMAT score.
